An overtly queer book work both in form and content, Choke on Me speaks on refusal, palatability of queer bodies, and the contradictory concept of the “good queer”. This piece creates a vacuous space within the harnesses where a body would usually reside. The lack of literal bodily representation is an intentional act of refusal to provide viewers with a queer body to scrutinize.
